Alaska is one of those cruise destinations that cause a few reactions in people. A feeling of relaxation and peace, a feeling of calmness and freedom, and (for some) a feeling of “I’ve been there and it’s boring”. 🥱
I can understand all of that! It really is relaxing, calm, and even boring. But the boring part is deceptive because there are beautiful parts to the trip if you let go of what we’re used to when it comes to excitement and being entertained.
Keep in mind that nature is always entertaining if you can escape the intensity of human demands. Thinking without electronic input or the demands of other humans, is really the true escape.
I encourage you to try a cruise to Alaska. My other advise is to choose your vessel wisely because not all cruise lines will give you that true Alaska feeling of freedom, escape, and peace.
